How to use our 6 Step Onboarding Guide.

When you start a trial and subscribe to a plan in StockTrim you will see at the top of the dashboard a 6 Step Onboarding Guide as shown below, of recommended steps to help you get setup and using our platform.  

Each section will show as completed once you have performed the required steps as outlined below.

The 6 steps are:

1. Import your own data
   • Either from your connected IMS or via csv. Contact us if you have any issues with this.
2. Update supplier lead times
   • Go into your suppliers and update the Default Lead Time field per supplier. You must do this for at least 1 supplier.
3. Configure demand analysis
   • You will need to update a minimum of 20 data points in total across any of your skus.
   • We recommend you edit your lead times, add moq, batch size and min shelf values to start with.
4. Generate a purchase order
   • You can generate single purchase orders by selecting a supplier first, then click the Generate Purchase Order button.
   • Or generate bulk purchase orders for all required skus, by not selecting a supplier and clicking the Generate Purchase Order button.
   • Review your drafts, approve them, and then send back to your IMS.
5. Explore the app
   • Spend at least 2 hours updating your skus settings, generating purchase orders, reviewing your data etc.
6. Optimize inventory
   • Continue to refine your lead times, add moq, batch size and min shelf values.
   • Adjust your service levels as required for fast and slow moving skus.
   • Add extra Option labels for more filtering terms on your OrderPlan.
   • Update your Order Schedule timing to reflect how often you regularly order your products.
   • Once we detect that the 10 fastest moving products have orders placed within 5% of suggested quantities this will show as completed.
