The monthly sales history figures in StockTrim are simply the sum of all individual sales transaction records.
So if these are wrong, and do not match your Inventory Management System, then the easiest way to figure out why is to look through the individual sales transactions.
Choose one product as an example, then bring up the sales history in StockTrim (under the order plan -> demand analysis) then compare the records with your IMS.
Look at sales records that are correct in StockTrim, vs not, then correlate that with the difference in your IMS. You should see a difference in the Status, date, or other property, so you'll need to ensure the way of record keeping is consistent.
There are several possibilities that they could be wrong:
Are you referencing the correct date? Your IMS might be looking at the fulfilled date, when StockTrim looks at the created date or order date - see this article for the explanation: https://stocktrim.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410721520791-What-sale-order-date-does-the-system-look-at-
Are all the sales history transactions present? If you have added or removed sales history retrospectively in your IMS you will need to select the "Refresh Sales History" option (in the Load Data screen in StockTrim) to update all your history.
Was the STATUS of the sales orders correct the last time they were sync'd? Some IMS's only send completed sales orders, not draft or in-progress. If the status of the sales orders has changed then you will need to ensure you click Refresh Sales History to reimport.
Are there duplicate transactions? If you have imported via CSV, ensure that the sales history records are correct and there are no duplicates. If there are, import a new CSV file to correct the data.
Is the unit price correct? If your quantities are correct but the values are wrong, ensure that the unit prices are set correctly on the sales transactions, or your product data.
Are the Bill of Materials set up correctly? If the item is a component, ensure that the BOM is set with the correct quantities. The order quantity in StockTrim is the sum of all the parent products X the BOM quantity.
