No. Production job data is not relevant from a demand forecasting point of view. StockTrim bases the forecasts on the end demand (i.e.: the demand from your customers), so that is ascertained from the sale order data, not the assembly use or production job data. The demand for a component is simply the finished goods sales X the BOM quantity.
Production jobs are an internal operation, and can be managed in your inventory management system or warehouse management system. If StockTrim took these into account when forecasting, then any internal inefficiencies you may have will propagate through your forecasts causing inaccuracies (i.e.: the forecasts will be based on what you are currently doing, instead of what you optimally should be doing). For example, if you produced an excess quantity in the past, then the system would forecast that you repeat this same amount in the future which would be incorrect.
